Hey!

It's a balmy 25c, the sun is radiating in through the beautiful black steel windows that frame my studio as I kick back in the Eames and start to put some words down. Words that cover my artistic journey in relative depth from the beginning. This environment, a glorious manifestation-come-true is a stark contrast to where I found myself in at the beginning of my art career and indeed my life.

I have always created in form or another. My maths classes - much to my teachers chagrin, were spent sketching instead of combining X and Y. If we go further back, my imagination was sparked with LEGO and the infinite possibilities laid before me. Marbles were also, now I look back, a source of inspiration for my work today. Swirling colours and shapes, cosmic entities captured within, ethereal forms all encapsulated within glass, not dissimilar to my acrylic and resin work.

Through school I was convinced I would be a graphic designer. It was this goal that laid the foundation for what I'm able to produce today. I studied every art and design subject I could. Visual Communication, Photography, Graphic Design and Multimedia. I learned the fundamentals of colour theory, composition and balance through these

Painting has always been more than just a form of artistic expression for me; it has been a lifeline, a means of improving my mental health. It all began with a simple brushstroke, an escape from the chaotic world around me. Through the power of colors and textures, I discovered healing and a newfound purpose.

My paintings reflect a kaleidoscope of emotions, ranging from joy and serenity to vulnerability and introspection. Every stroke is a visual symphony, a language only art can speak. Working primarily with acrylics and resin, I have mastered the art of manipulating these mediums to create captivating depth and texture on the canvas. The versatility of acrylics allows me to experiment with various techniques, while the luminosity of resin adds a glossy and enchanting finish to my pieces. Each artwork I create is infused with a piece of my soul.
